Capelands Estate

Capelands Estate lies in the western Cape of South Africa. The owner and winemaker is Johann Innerhofer who is born from a family of Italian filmmakers. He not only is the brand ambassador of the famous Italian winery ——Sassicaia，and he set up its own grape auction named Wine Gallery， founded the famous Merano International Wine Festival in Italy, but also he is a special winemaker which spent 30years to travel all over the famous wine producing area in the world，until he brewed a fine wine which has both elegance and romance of the old world and the enthusiasm style of the new world.

 

In 2004, Johanna Innerhofer and his wife Laura Mauri purchased the Capelands Estate. There has excellent terroir estate in the Durbanville, where is famous wine production area in South Africa.


Presently, Capelands Estate producted the wines which combines the owner's intentions and years of learning, received extensive attention from the international wine industry when there were launched. Cabernet Sauvignon achieves the “Top 100 South African Wines” award.
