Mascota Vineyards reflect the passion ofthe winemakers and the unique influence of the natural terroir of Mendoza,Argentina.

In 2005, in order to create a high-qualitywinery with representative wines, a group of agronomists and oenologistsgathered in the Mascota Vineyards, a single vineyard located in the ancientwine region of Mendoza, Cruz de Piedra. Soon after, in Mendoza, Argentina, thewinery selected a vineyard in the world-famous producing areas—— Uco Valley. Located at the foot ofthe Andes, close to natural rivers, this vineyard covers an area of about 100hectares.




The cool breeze blowing from the mountainsand rivers creates good temperature differences between day and night in thevineyards. The unique climate, soil and water provide sufficient conditions forthe production of high-quality grape fruits. The main grape varieties producedhere are: Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Malbec, Pinot Noir, Syrah, Chardonnayand Sauvignon Blanc.



The chief winemaker of Mascota Vineyard , theRodolfo Sadler, alias Opi, is both the creator of various wines and one ofArgentina's most internationally recognized winemakers. He has 40 years ofexperience in the Argentine wine industry and has worked in winemaking in theUnited States, France and Chile. Inheriting the generations of his father andgrandfather, Opi is the third generation of the family's winemaker, showing apassion for wine from a young age. For Opi, none of the most cherished memoriesare the heartwarming moments spent with his grandfather in the wine cellar.Winemaking brings him not only a passionate journey in life, but also thosefamiliar and comfortable quiet times. Today, Opi's wines from the Mascota Vineyardalso contain his precious childhood memories. Every best time that spentsharing the wine of Mascota Vineyards with loved ones is worth guarding.






In 2014, Mascota Vineyards was awarded the"Argentine Wine Producer of the Year" at the International Wine andSpirits Competition, becoming the youngest winery to win the award since thecompetition. In 2018, at the International Wine Spirits Tasting Competitionheld in Paris, France, Caste Cabernet Sauvignon experienced a five-day blind tastingby 130 experts, and stood out from more than 3,500 wines from more than 40countries, becoming the first Argentine Cabernet Sauvignon to win the"Best Red Wine in the World award".
